What is an FWD Card issued by Security Bank?

The FWD Card issued by Security Bank (FWD Card) is a rewards card issued exclusively to FWD clients who purchase digital Set for Health or Set for Tomorrow. It is an interest earning savings account issued by Security Bank.

Your FWD Card entitles you to the ff. benefits:

  • Discount and perks from partner merchants ()
  • Zero maintaining balance
  • Free renewal upon card expiry
  • Remit money via SMS

What can I do with FWD Card issued by Security Bank?

You can use your FWD Card at any Mastercard affiliated merchants when paying in-store or online. You can even withdraw cash anytime via ATM. Since it is issued by Security Bank, you can enroll it in their online banking platform (Security Bank online) and access features such as Bills Payment, InstaPay, eGiveCash and more.

How can I claim my FWD Card?

You can pick up your FWD Card at the Security Bank branch you indicated in the Card Application Form. Security Bank will send an SMS notification when it's ready.

I already claimed/received my FWD Card and account details. Now what?

As soon as you receive your FWD Card, activate it by changing your default PIN at any Security Bank ATM. Once activated, use of your card is endless!

Do I need to do anything so I can use my card for purchases overseas?

For your safety and protection, we highly encourage you to provide Security Bank a travel advisory by calling their Customer Service Hotline, +632 8887 9188.

Can I use my card to make withdrawals at any ATM?

You can use your card at any CashLink, BancNet, or MegaLink ATMs nationwide. When outside the Philippines, you can use your ATM at any machine that accepts Mastercard. Please note that withdrawal fees and charges may apply, depending on which machine you will use. Withdrawals made via Security Bank ATMs are free of charge.

Do I need to maintain any balance in my account?

Your FWD Card is interest earning but requires no maintaining balance. In order for your account to start earning interest, you will need to maintain at least ₱100,000.

Does the card expire?

Your card will expire in three years. Upon expiry, just present your card to any Security Bank branch for free renewal.

Do I need to have an existing account with Security Bank to get the FWD Card?

No. Upon successful purchase of the Digital Set for Health or Set for Tomorrow, you will be able to sign up for the FWD Card.

How do I avail of discounts and perks from partner merchants?

Discounts and perks will automatically be applied when you use your FWD Card to purchase at partner merchants. Terms and conditions apply. You can find the list of ongoing promos here:

If I purchase another Digital Set for Health and/Set for Tomorrow, do I get another FWD Card?

Only one FWD Card will be issued per policyholder.

Are there other fees and charges?

  • Card Replacement (Lost or Damaged Card)
  • ₱300
  • Statement of Account (SOA) Printing
  • ₱100
  • PIN Replacement
  • ₱100
  • Over-the-Counter (OTC) Withdrawal Fee
  • ₱100
  • Automatically waived under any of the following conditions:
    • If the ATM Machine is offline;
    • If the withdrawal amount exceeds the ATM withdrawable limit of ₱50,000; or
    • In case of lost/damaged/expired card where in the requested replacement card has not yet been received by the Accountholder.

A card replacement fee of ₱300 will be charged.
